No Raw Air Tournament
There will be no Raw Air tournement in the 2025–2026-season.
However, it will still be a busy winter with World Cup competitions in Lillehammer, Holmenkollen, and Vikersund in Norway.
Nika Prevc from Slovenia won Raw Air overall for the first time. She has shown an extremely high level throughout Raw Air. Prevc started Raw Air by winning the competition in Holmenkollen and got off to a fantastic start before Vikersund was next. She won ahead of Anna Odine Strøm and Eirin Maria Kvandal.
In Vikersund, Nika Prevc set a world record in her first training jump. She flew 236 metres in both her first and third practice jumps on Friday. It was a sign of what the rest of the weekend would be like. Saturday was the only counting competition for the women. Prevc won it ahead of Selina Freitag from Germany and team-mate Ema Klinec from Slovenia. In the overall standings, there were no changes from Holmenkollen and Nika Prevc took the overall victory ahead of Norway's Eirin Maria Kvandal and Anna Odine Strøm.

Andreas Wellinger from Germany won Raw Air overall for the first time. He has shown a high level throughout Raw Air. The German started Raw Air with a seventh-place finish in Holmenkollen before going on to win Raw Air in Vikersund.
In Vikersund, the men's qualification on Friday was won by Domen Prevc and Wellinger took fourth place in the qualification. In Saturday's competition, Andreas Wellinger won with a jump of 229.5 metres, giving him a good start for Sunday. On Sunday, there was only one round and it was won by Domen Prevc. However, Prevc did not manage to gain enough points on Wellinger in the overall standings, and Wellinger finished second in Sunday's competition. Wellinger secured the overall victory for the first time.

The stage is set for a new ski flying party with a new concept in Infra Group Arena in Vikersund on 14-16 March 2025 during the RAW AIR final. The World Championships end in Trondheim the week before, so come and watch the world's best ski jumpers fly down the Vikersund hill live.

There will again be an extra element of excitement with three rounds of ski flying in the final round of the RAW AIR final in Vikersund on Sunday 16 March for the men. In addition, more women will be participating in ski flying. For the first time, 25 women will be jumping in ski flying during the final weekend of the tournament.
- There were many long flights and a lot of excitement when RAW AIR was decided last winter with three rounds on Sunday for the men. We'll get to experience this again, and we're particularly pleased that more women will be able to jump ski flying, says race director Ole Gunnar Fidjestøl.
- We want to bring back a great atmosphere in Vikersund all day with music, food trucks, catering and more. There will be a great athmosphere, giving the public the feeling that ski flying in Vikersund is something special, says head of organising comitee, Leif Arne Berget.
In 2025, Vikersund offers two ticket options, a day pass or a weekend pass that gives you entry every day. If you buy a weekend pass before Christmas Eve, you'll be able to gain entry all three days for NOK 500.
It starts in Holmenkollen
Just a few days after the World Championships in Trondheim are over, it's time for a new RAW AIR tournament. It all starts in Holmenkollen on Thursday 13 March before it all comes to a finale in Vikersund. In total, there will be nine counting jumps for men and seven for women in the tournament this winter.
It's time for a new edition of Raw Air from March 13th to 16th, 2025. Ski jumping will take place in Holmenkollen and Vikersund. For the first time, 25 women will compete in ski flying during the tournament's final weekend.
At today's meeting of the ski jumping committee in the International Ski Federation FIS, held in Portoroz, Slovenia, significant new milestones were established for women's ski jumping. Just a few days after the conclusion of the World Championships in Trondheim, preparations are underway for a new Raw Air tournament. It all begins in Holmenkollen on Thursday, March 13th, before concluding in Vikersund. In total, there will be nine scoring jumps for men and seven for women in the upcoming winter tournament.
"We are proud to be hosting a tournament even in the World Championship year in Trondheim, and we are particularly excited to showcase the World Championship heroes in Holmenkollen and Vikersund just a few days after the championship," says the tournament project manager, Ståle Villumstad.
"World record holder Silje Opseth is delighted that 25 women will get to jump in Vikersund, and that there's room for Raw Air even in the World Championship year in Trondheim. 'Fantastic news, and it will be great to have another season next winter with so many ski jumping competitions in Norway. Ski flying is one of the coolest things I've experienced. That 25 of us can finally jump in Vikersund next year is a very significant step in the right direction for us. This will elevate women's ski jumping even further,' says Opseth.
RAW AIR 2025 Facts
RAW AIR 2025 Schedule, (7 scoring jumps for women and 9 for men):
March 13th: Holmenkollen, HS 134, qualification and races for women and men
March 14th: Vikersund HS 240, official training for women, qualification for men
March 15th: Vikersund, HS 240, individual races for men and women
March 16th: Vikersund, HS 240, Raw Air final for men and women
Holmenkollen will be like a regular World Cup weekend with qualification, featuring 40 women and 50 men. In Vikersund, the top 25 women in the World Cup standings will compete in the first round on Saturday and Sunday, while the top 15 will advance to the final round. Men will follow regular World Cup rules for ski flying, with the top 40 competing in Saturday's race after Friday's qualification. In addition to World Cup prize money in all races, there will be prize money for the top three overall in the RAW AIR tournament for both men and women.
All decisions made by the calendar committee in Slovenian Portoroz will be finally approved by the FIS Council."
